Fascinated by roses, Arantzazu once spent an entire year painting them daily to familiarize herself with their ever-changing textures, translucence, colors, and hues. That experience also drew her deeper into the message roses hold for us.
To her, they represent metamorphosis, so we must wonder, how does it feel to gaze back at her?
